At WCHS, I am school counselor and I have been in the counseling department at WCHS for the past seventeen years. I am currently a member of the American School Counseling Association as well as the NCC.
I joined WCHS after receiving my graduate degree from Bradley University in Counselor Education. I graduated from Metamora High School and then received my Bachelor of Education from Illinois State University in 1998. I began my career in education by teaching social studies at Peoria Notre Dame High School. I graduated with my Masters from Bradley University in May of 2005. I have also been involved into the field of counseling throughout my master's studies, having passed the National Counseling Exam and becoming a Nationally Certified Counselor.
